I have been waiting for D&D 5 to be made public before deciding whether or not to update Mire-Brissay from 3.5. Now that the Basic Rules are out I have come to the preliminary conclusion to remain with 3.5. While D&D 5 has some interesting ideas, and seems to harken back to the play style of AD&D which I like, the investment to learn a new set of rules, buy a new set of core rulebooks, and obsolete the hundreds of 3.5 books I have seems to be too much. Therefore I am detailing the house rules I use to emphasize the flavor of Mire-Brissay.
